Hey you. I get it.  You’ve tried everything. ...All the new diets, all the fads, all the pills, all the workouts,  and still… nothing. 

Nothing ever seems to work for you, or last long-term, and you're beyond frustrated with yourself and your relationship with food. You want to lose the weight that never seems to come off, but you're so exhausted from doing all-the-things you wonder if you should even try again.

and then eating ALL the things and feeling bad about it.

That was my story...

I felt like superwoman, and I loved it. I held a Director-level position in charge of multiple teams at a large company, I was a fitness instructor, yoga teacher, ran marathons, was heavily involved in my community, had a social life I loved, and also ran a side-hustle health coaching business and a rental property business. 

​

My husband and I had just moved to a new city and were truly enjoying all it had to offer, when what seemed like both slowly and suddenly, I started to feel... off. 

​

And then feeling off lead to getting a lot sick more often than usual, and feeling tired all the time. Then strangely in my 30s, I started getting migraines, developed asthma for what seemed like no reason at all, and started having random, frequent muscle strains and injuries.

  

To top it all off, my weight began to yo-yo back and forth and nothing I did seemed to be helping me get control of it and balance it out. It drove me crazy!

I felt like I was falling apart and couldn't get control.

I was so tired of the struggle, and I just wanted my life back.

Initially, I thought I might be dealing with some type of hormone or thyroid condition, so I started making appointments with doctors who could run tests and hopefully give me some answers. However, all the usual tests came back normal. I was told I was fine and maybe just needed to take a yoga class or two (oh, the irony, right!?)

​

Determined to not feel like crap anymore, I dove into all the research I could find about everything I could think of that might help me: the thyroid, inflammation, macros, micros, hormone related weight gain, elimination diets, and even diets for autoimmune diseases. (And when I say research, I mean RESEARCH. No facebook articles here!)  Over the course of a year, I experimented with my own body and diet, learned a LOT, and found a whole new world of information about women's health that didn't exist 10 years ago when I was getting my first health and nutrition certifications. 

 

Every step along the way, every doctor or specialist that I saw, and every book or article that I read gave new clues and insight into what might be going on and as I started making specific changes based on what I learned and how my body responded, things began to shift dramatically!

Finally, I felt just like I used to... like Superwoman! I felt like I was back to the happy, ambitious woman I used to be and felt great in my own skin again!

Professional Bio

Haley grew up in Louisiana spending most of her summers trekking through the woods near her house or with her grandmother learning how to make biscuits from scratch. Always coming up with ways to make money and dreaming of a life full of travel and glamour, Haley felt sure that one day she would become a high-level business woman that could run large companies and still fly home to be with her family.  

​

Immediately after graduating college with a degree in Psychology, Haley entered into the first of her two Director level jobs, coordinating large-scale productions and conferences, company-wide web and graphic design campaigns, and media content creation for company wide distribution.  At the same time she felt the pull to start her own side business in the fitness industry with a private yoga studio and health coaching business, as well as her own web and graphic design company for one-on-one client work. Eventually, Haley moved on from Director life and into fitness and nutrition full-time, training clients and coaching for Orangetheory.

Haley has been working in the fitness and nutrition industry since 2004 and holds certifications in Yoga, Group Fitness Instruction and Personal Training. She is a Certified Nutrition Specialist with NASM and NESTA, and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Certified.
